Srinagar, : Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) reiterated its appeal to the general public to make optimal use of its online appointment facility.
This facility has been specially designed for second consultations and follow-up visits, eliminating the need for patients to wait in long queues at the OPD counters.
Additionally, investigation reports are also accessible online through the SKIMS website “https://patient-services.skims.ac.in/
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), patients and their attendants are encouraged to check reports digitally instead of physically visiting the hospital for the same, thereby saving valuable time and avoiding unnecessary crowding.
Despite repeated awareness efforts, the utilization of these online services remains low. These facilities have been developed for the convenience and comfort of patients and attendants, and to reduce congestion at the Institute.
