MLA Rings Health Minister Seeking Action Against Unauthorised Absence of Staff At DH Bandipora

MLA Bandipora Nizamuddin Bhat conducted a surprise visit to the District Hospital Bandipora during the evening hours on Thursday.
Reports reaching news agency Kashmir Dot Com said that during his inspection, Bhat found that a several number of hospital staff members including the medical Superintend were absent from duties, raising concerns about the patient care.
Disturbed by the situation, he immediately reported the matter to the concerned Minister, Sakina Yatoo, urging prompt action to address the issue.
When contacted, Bhat told that the hospital authorities did not even provide him with the staff duty roster, further raising questions about the management’s transparency and accountability.
The MLA emphasized the need for regular monitoring and stricter oversight to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services for the people of Bandipora. Further action from the Health Department is awaited in response to his observations.
