Snowfall across the Kashmir Valley on Friday disrupted flight operations at Srinagar airport, prompting airlines to warn passengers of delays and extended wait times. Confirming the disruption, Srinagar Airport authorities said at least 26 flights to and from the airport were cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions.

Icy conditions across the valley, especially in the higher reaches, have led to the closure of some key highways and roads.
