National Voters’ Day, pledge ceremonies were organised across Police District Awantipora.
Supervisory officers administered the Voters’ Pledge to officers and personnel, reaffirming their commitment to the democratic traditions of the country.
The theme of this year’s National Voters’ Day, “My India, My Vote,” was highlighted during the programme. Officers and personnel pledged to uphold the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to exercise their right to vote in every election fearlessly and without any influence of religion, race, caste, community, language or inducement.
The event concluded with a collective reaffirmation of faith in democracy and the democratic process.
