J&K Govt Deputes Female Officer to Singapore for Urban Water Management Workshop
Srinagar, Feb: The Jammu and Kashmir government has deputed Er. Anbreena Anjum, Executive Engineer of PHE City Water Works Division, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, to Singapore for attending the 5th Workshop on Urban Water Management, Capacity Building, and Knowledge Sharing Programme.
According to an official order issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department, the decision follows a communication from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. This programme is to be conducted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, in collaboration with the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SEC) from 1st April to 5th April, 2025.
“The workshop aims to enhance expertise in urban water management, a critical area for sustainable development in rapidly growing urban spaces.” reads an order issued Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Mandeep Kaur.
