Anantnag, Mar 24: Municipal Council Anantnag has imposed strict restrictions on illegal street vending across the town, particularly on key roads, following directions from the Deputy Commissioner.
According to an official order as per news agencies, enforcement teams including the Tax Inspector, Khilafwarzi Inspector and Demolition Squad have been directed to ensure that no vendor sets up carts on main roads, especially along the stretch from Mehindi-Kadal to Janglatmandi.
Officials have been asked to maintain continuous monitoring throughout the day, with strict action to be taken against any lapse or negligence in enforcement.
The authorities have directed all concerned to strictly comply with the order to ensure smooth movement and maintain public order in the town.
