Ganderbal : In a major breakthrough, Ganderbal Police has arrested two accused persons involved in the alleged murder case of Kangan. The investigation revealed that after committing the crime, the accused dumped the victim’s body into a canal.
After strenuous efforts, the body of the deceased was recovered from the canal and accordingly Case *FIR No.64/2025, U/S 103 (1) BNS* stands registered at *PS Kangan.*
After medico-legal formalities, the dead body has been handed over to the deceased family for the last rites.
During the course of preliminary investigation, a wire used in the commission of crime was recovered. Significantly, one of the close friends of the deceased has emerged as the prime eyewitness, whose statement has proven vital in cracking the case.
