Missing Boy’s Body Retrieved from Power Canal in Kangan.

Ganderbal, Sept 24: The body of a youth who had gone missing in a power canal near Panzin, Kangan, was recovered on Tuesday after an extensive search operation jointly carried out by police, SDRF, and local volunteers.
The deceased has been identified as Ajaz Ahmed Rather, son of Ghulam Mohammad Rather, a resident of Shah Sultan Colony, Kangan.

According to reports Ajaz is believed to have accidentally or murdered and put into the canal, triggering a swift rescue response.
Teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) rushed to the spot along with diving gear and worked in coordination with police officials and locals to trace the missing youth. After hours of effort, the body was retrieved from the waters.

The incident sparked grief in the area, with dozens of residents gathering along the canal to support the bereaved family.

Meanwhile Police has registered as case in this regards and Two persons have been arrested for questioning.
