Road damage halts traffic on Jammu-Srinagar highway
Vehicular movement on the busy Jammu-Srinagar National highway was halted due to road damaged at Hingni, Ramsoo, officials said on Sunday.
“Traffic movement stopped from both ends on Jammu-Srinagar NHW due to road damaged at Hingni, Ramsoo. People are advised not to travel on NH-44 without confirmation from TCUS” Jammu and Kashmir (J-K) Traffic police said in a post on X.
Earlier it said, “A part of road has been damaged at Hingni, Ramsoo on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. People are advised to enquire status of road from TCUs before starting their journey on NH-44. SSG road is still closed. Mughal road through for vehicular movement.” (Agencies)
