Shopian, May 26 : In a tragic incident, a 2-year-old girl who was reported missing early Monday morning in south Kashmir’s Shopian district was later found dead near Nallah.
Sources told news agency JKNS that the girl a resident of Kumdallan village in Shopian, had gone missing from her home in the morning.
Following a frantic search by locals and police, her lifeless body was recovered near a nearby Nallah. Authorities have taken the body for medico-legal formalities, and further investigation into the circumstances of her death is underway.
