Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Health and Medical Education, School Education and Social Welfare, Dr. Sakina Itoo Sahiba, today held a detailed interaction with Chairperson Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE), Prof. Minu Mahajan, to deliberate on measures aimed at strengthening professional education opportunities across J&K.
During the meeting, the Hon’ble Minister took a comprehensive appraisal of the functioning of JKBOPEE and reviewed related aspects, including the Composite Regional Centre (CRC) Srinagar. She directed the Chairperson to explore the feasibility of creating additional seats in the special B.Ed course at CRC, citing the increasing demand for trained special educators across mainstream and specialized institutions to cater to the needs of specially enabled students.
