Massive Clean-Up Drive at Peer Gali Shopian: Nature Gets a Breath of Fresh Air

Shopian, Oct 26, : In a remarkable joint effort, teams from the Wildlife, Forest, Revenue, Forest Protection Force (FPF), and Municipal Committee Shopian came together to clear tons of plastic waste from the picturesque Peer Gali pastures.
The collective drive not only restored the natural charm of this scenic destination but also sent a strong message about community responsibility toward the environment.
Officials urged the public to “respect this gift of nature” and keep the region’s meadows free from plastic and polythene litter.
As one participant put it, “Let’s protect what protects us.”(CNS)
