JAMMU, May 27: Central Bureau of Investigation/ Anticorruption Bureau today booked Rohit Sharma, the then Tehsildar Bahu in Disproportionate Assets case.
According to the FIR, reliable source information was received that Rohit Sharma acquired huge assets, both movable and immovable in his name and in the name of his family members during the period between 01.01.2020 and 14.11.2022, which are disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Rohit Sharma was found to be in possession of pecuniary resources or property disproportionate to his known sources of income to the tune of Rs 1,33,39,457, which the public servant could not satisfactorily account for. Hence, a regular case has been registered against him and entrusted to Sushil Kumar, DySP, CBI, ACB, Jammu for investigation.
