Doda, May 27, A labourer from Odisha was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday morning near the under-construction multilevel car parking site at the new bus stand in Doda town.
Official sources said the body was recovered from the labourersโ residential quarter adjacent to the construction site. The deceased was employed as a Wormias worker at the ongoing project.
Police, along with a forensic team, reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for post-mortem.
A case has been registered and investigation is underway. Officials said no foul play is suspected as of now, and the exact cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report.
