Police Flag Day Week 2025 Awantipora Police Organises “Run for Unity” in Khrew
As part of the ongoing celebrations of Police Flag Day Week, Police District Awantipora organised a “Run for Unity” event at Pampore. More than 100 participants from different age groups and areas of Sub-Division Pampore took part in the run with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The event commenced at 08:00 a.m. from Khrew Chowk and concluded at Sharshali Chowk. During the flag-off ceremony, the officers interacting with participants highlighted that the “Run for Unity” was organised in honour of Police Martyrs, to commemorate their courage, valour, and supreme sacrifices made for safeguarding the unity and integrity of the nation and for protecting the lives and property of the people.
During the closing ceremony, the first three winners were presented mementos and appreciation certificates.
On the occasion, SDPO Pampore Shri RP Singh, SHO Police Station Khrew Inspector Naieem Rashid, and other police officers were present.
