RAMBAN, Dec 27: An Alto K-10 car driven by Advocate Sheikh Adil Nabi, Prosecutor in CBI was hit by a Scorpio vehicle (JK-01BB-2625) causing death of Prosecutor.
Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban, Arun Gupta, said the vehicle involved in the accident has been seized and the accused driver, identified as Mohammad Shafi of Nadirgund Peerbagh, Tehsil Chanpora, Srinagar, has been arrested.
He said an FIR number 139/2025 has been registered at Police Station Banihal under sections 281 and 125A of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and further investigation has been set into motion.
