Shopian, Dec 27 A man was injured in a leopard attack in Rayathpora Pinjoora area of Shopian district on Saturday, officials said.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), the injured has been identified as 50-year-old, a resident of Rayathpora Pinjoora. He was attacked by a leopard, resulting in injuries.
Soon after the incident, the injured was rushed to District Hospital Shopian for treatment, where his condition was stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, locals have urged the authorities to take immediate measures to prevent further such incidents in the area. (KNC)
