GoI Bans Muslim Conference J&K (Sumji faction) and Muslim Conference J&K (Bhat faction)

Srinagar, 28 Feb: (KS) Ministry of Home Affairs banned Muslim Conference J&K (Sumji faction) and Muslim Conference J&K (Bhat faction) on Wednesday.

The decision came after HM extends ban on Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Scroll, Home Minister Amit Shah in a post on X said, “Striking terror networks with undiminished vehemence the government has declared the Muslim Conference Jammu & Kashmir (Sumji faction) and Muslim Conference Jammu & Kashmir (Bhat faction) as Unlawful Associations.”

“These outfits have been engaging in activities against the sovereignty and integrity of the nation”, he said.

“PM @narendramodi Ji’s government is determined to uproot terrorism and anyone involved in unlawful activities will face dire consequences”, he further said.(KS)
