Four persons include a female drug peddler held in North Kashmir

Baramulla, Mar 28: Police arrested 4 drug peddlers including a woman, recovered cash and drugs from their possession in North Kashmir’s Boniyar area of Baramulla district.

The arrests were made in Boniyar area when police checked a vehicle (JK05L-3829) and recovered 60 grams Heroin like substance. Cash to the tune of Rs 50K was also recovered from their possession. Police seized the vehicle and registered a case under relevant sections of law.

Police identified the accused as Ikhlaq Mir and Kabir Awan, both residents of Daragutliyan area, Qayoom Khan of Bela Salamabad, and Muneeba Younis, a resident of Uranbowa village of Uri.

The alleged drug peddlers were on their way to Boniyar from Chandanwari.

All 4 accused have been put behind the bars at Police Station Boniyar.
