Properties Of Two Pak-based Terror Handlers Attached In J&K’s Baramulla

SRINAGAR, May 28: Properties of two terror handlers have been attached by the police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla, the latest move by the security force to combat terror activities in the valley.

The attached properties (3 Kanals and 19 Marlas) land worth lacs belong to Jalal Din, son of Raj Mohd resident of Zamboor Pattan, and Mohd Saki, son of Mastana Bhatti resident of Kamalkote Uri. Both these terror handlers are based in Pakistan, officials said.
The action was taken under sections of 83 CRPC and are linked with case FIR No.34/1995 u/s 7/25 Indian Arms Act, 4(III) TADA Act & 105/1996 u/s 2/3 EIMCO Act of PS Uri
“The property was identified during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Police. The operation reaffirms the commitment of Police to combat the terror activities,” a police official said.`
Last month, police in Pulwama have seized a single-storey residential house that was used by terrorists for their shelter and stay.
The house owner, Mohammad Lateef Kar, provided logistic support to them, officials said.
The property is now under official seizure, prohibiting any transfer, lease, disposal, or alteration without prior permission from the designated authority.
This seizure is pursuant to FIR No. 315/2023 U/S 16, 18, 19 20, 38 and 39 UA(P) Act of police station Pulwama.
“The seizure underscores the unwavering commitment of Pulwama authorities to dismantle terrorist networks and disrupt their financial support systems. Cooperation from the public remains essential in the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and security in the region,” security officials had said at the time.
