*Srinagar Administration Issues Weather Advisory Amid Rain, Snow and Gusty Winds*
*Public urged to avoid unnecessary travel; warnings issued for Dal Lake, Jhelum activities till March 31*

Srinagar, Mar 30 The District Magistrate Srinagar has issued a weather advisory in view of prevailing inclement conditions and forecast of intermittent light to moderate rain and snowfall in higher reaches, accompanied by thunder and gusty winds reaching speeds of 40–50 kmph till late evening/night on March 30 and continuing up to March 31.
According to the advisory, accessed by news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, the general public has been advised to avoid unnecessary movement on roads except in cases of absolute necessity.
Tourists, local Shikara operators, sand miners and others working around Dal Lake, River Jhelum and other water bodies have been strictly cautioned against venturing out or operating without assessing prevailing safety conditions.
Authorities have also urged citizens to remain vigilant and cooperate with the administration in the interest of public safety.
