Srinagar, August 30:(GNS) Three militants on Lashkar-i-Toiba oufit were killed in a gunfight in Nagbal area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.
Officials sources told GNS that three militants of LeT were killed and their bodies were also recovered from the encounter site.
Earlier a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the target spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, leading to an encounter.(GNS)
