*From Early Orphanhood to Authorship: NEET Aspirant Fiza Fayaz’s Inspiring Journey from Kilam Tankipora*

Kulgam Jan 31:An inspiring story of resilience and creativity has emerged from Kilam Tankipora in Kulgam district, where young writer and NEET aspirant Fiza Fayaz has turned personal tragedy into literary strength with her debut book “The Valley of Verses.”

Fiza lost her father in 2019 after a long battle with cancer. His passing left behind a small family of three — Fiza, her sister, and their mother — who has since been the sole earning member of the household. The loss became a defining moment in Fiza’s life.

“I always dreamed of becoming a doctor,” Fiza said. “But when my father left this world, something changed inside me. Writing became my way of coping. I started with a few stanzas, and later the words just began flowing from my heart.”

She shared that her emotions are deeply tied to the memory of her late father.“This book is not just a book. It is my pain, my feelings, and my love for my father. Every page carries a part of him,” she said.

Fiza also offered advice to young people pursuing their dreams.“Action speaks louder than words. In every field, you will face both appreciation and criticism. Ignore negativity and keep working hard.”

She credited her mother and teachers for standing by her through difficult times.
“Their support and encouragement gave me the courage to complete this book,” she added.

Her debut work, “The Valley of Verses,” marks the beginning of her literary journey.“If people support me, I will try to write more books in the future,” Fiza said with hope.

“The Valley of Verses” is now available on Amazon.
