Man Injured In Bear Attack in Handwara, Hospitalised

Kupwara, July 31 (KS) : A 55-year-old man was injured after being attacked by a wild bear in north Kashmir’s Handwara village on Monday morning.

An official told Kashmir Scroll that soon after the incident he was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment at Kupwara, where from he was referred to GMC Handwara for treatment.

The identified him as Manzoor Ahmad Ganai son of Abdul Ahad Ganai of Ganai Mohalla Kandi (55).

Pertinently, this is second such bear attack incident in the district since past week. (KS)
