Jio Users in Kangan Ganderbal Complain of Frequent Call Drops and Poor Internet Service

Kangan Ganderbal, Dec 31 -:- Residents of Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district have voiced their frustration over the poor quality of services provided by private telecom operator Jio. Subscribers in the region are facing frequent call drops, erratic internet connectivity, and slow browsing speeds, causing significant inconvenience.

Local users told CNS Current News Service that the persistent issues with the network have made it difficult to stay connected. “We are unable to contact our family and friends as calls either show as busy, switched off, or not reachable,” one user reported. Many have taken to social media to highlight their concerns, with some claiming internet speeds as slow as 2G in the whole area.

The problem has also severely impacted students who rely on the internet for e-learning. Lone Manzoor, a resident of Kangan, shared that the unreliable connectivity has disrupted online education, leaving students struggling to access study material and attend virtual classes.

Some areas in Kangan and its adjoining localities are reportedly facing complete internet outages, further compounding the residents’ difficulties. The lack of reliable network coverage has made accessing essential online services nearly impossible.

Locals have urged Jio authorities to address these issues on priority and improve the quality of their services to ensure uninterrupted connectivity in the Kangan area

“We appeal to Jio management to take immediate measures to resolve the network issues. The current situation is unbearable and has disrupted our daily lives,” a resident remarked.

The affected users are now hoping for prompt action to restore stable and reliable connectivity in Kangan and surrounding areas.
