
Srinagar, Oct 22: State Investigation Agency (SIA) is carrying out raids at multiple locations in Kashmir valley on Saturday morning as part of its investigation into militancy funding case in the Union territory, sources said.
Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that the sleuths of the investigating agency with the assistance of the local police and the CRPF carried out raids in summer capital Srinagar, Shopian and Baramulla districts.
In Srinagar, raids are being conducted at the residence of Zahoor Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Aziz Mir, a resident of Parimpora opposite Bus-Stand, Baba building residency Road on the fourth floor to one tour and travel which belongs to Burhan ul Haq resident of Noorbagh.
Another SIA team the residence of Ali Mohd Wani (Pashmina business) son of Abdul Aziz Wani, a resident of Gander-Pora Eidgah and recovered/ seized 01 no cell phone, bank passbook 02 No and a passport, In Nowhatta area searches were conducted at two locations headed by DYSP Farooq Ahmad and Ghulam Gelani in the houses of Mohammad Arif Shah son of Fayaz Ahmad Shah and Mohd Younus Wani son of Khizer Mohammad Wani.
Similarly, reports reaching KDC said that raids are being conducted in Pattan area of Baramulla district and southern Kashmir’s Shopian.
