An elderly woman drowned in a Nallah in Tangmarg village of of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.
An official told that the woman identified as Haneefa Begum (65) wife of Ghulam Mohammad Mir of Manzgam was walking on the banks of Veshow Nallah when she slipped and drowned.
He said her body was later fished out by locals and shifted to a nearby hospital for postmortem—(KNO)
