Anantnag, Feb 06 :District Police Anantnag continuing its unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of Drugs from the society arrested three drug peddlers.
On a specific information Police party from Police Station Aishmuqam laid down a naka at Exchange crossing Aishmuqam and apprehended three drug peddlers namely Arif Hussain Raina Son Mohammad Afzal Raina, Yawar Ahmad Magray Son of Nazir Ahmad Magary both residents of Ainoo Aishmuqam and Javid Ahmad Merasee Son Bashir Ahmad Merasee resident of Ishnard Govass Aishmuqam and recovered about 07 Kgs of Charas chura like substance from thier possession. Case registered and investigation taken up.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood.
Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt as per law.
