MVD Samba challaned 60 vehicles and realized fine 1.20 lakh from MVA violators

SAMBA, MARCH 02: The ARTO Samba continued its enforcement drive by conducting a checking operation on NH44 near Chichi Mata Flyover today. Out of the 200 vehicles checked, 60 were Challaned/compounded for various violations. The main focus of today’s drive was on overloading in passenger and goods vehicles, vehicles without documents, over-height vehicles and R/P violations.

The inspection team consisted of of Rehana Tabassam ARTO, Vilas Srivats (MVI), Darshan (MVTA), Dinesh, and Khimender (NYC).

The operation resulted in a fine of Rs. 38,000 being realized on the spot, with an additional Rs. 120,000 expected from the remaining challans.
