Kulgam, Apr 09 : A man died while 2 others were injured in a road accident in Khur Batpora area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district last evening, officials said on Sunday.
An official told the news agencyβKashmir News Observer (KNO) the accident took place Saturday evening when a speedy vehicle hit a motorcycle in Khur Batpora, resulting in injuries to 3 persons.
He said all injured were shifted to district hospital Kulgam where from two of them were referred to SKIMS Soura. βLater one among them succumbed to his injuries.β
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Rafiq Malik son of Abdul Rashid Malik, while injured have been identified as Bashir Ahmad son of Abdul Ganie and Mushtaq Ahmad Malik son of Ghulam Qadir Malikβall residents of Khur Batpora.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incidenβ(KNO)
