Srinagar, June 24 :- A boy drowned to death in river Phuroo in Seer Jagir area of Sopore in North Kashmir Baramulla district on Saturday.
An official told news agency—Kashmir Scroll that a student of 9th standard namely Aazim Ahmad Guroo son of Suhail Ahmad Guroo resident of Seer Jagir Ghat drowned into river Phuroo at Alsafa colony Sopore while bathing.
He said that locals and police took him to hospital Sopore in unconscious condition.
He was later shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment where he breathed his last, he said
After legal and medico formalities, her dead body will be handed over to family for last rites, he said—(KS)
