Police arrests two drug peddlers in Baramulla
Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested two drug peddlers in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A spokesperson said that a police party headed by IC PP Palhallan during naka checking at Palhallan intercepted one person namely Aamir Ahmad Gojree @ Anaconda son of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Gojri Mohalla Palhllan. During search, officers were able to recover 108 grams of Charas like substance from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to police station where he remains in custody.
In another incident, a police party led by IC PP Mirgund during naka checking incerpected one person namely Syed Mohammad Shah son of Syed Ismail Shah resident of Kripalpora Payeen. During search, 105 grams of Charas like substance was recovered from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to police station where he remains in custody.
Accordingly, cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at respective police station Pattan and investigation have been initiated.
