Woman, her minor baby dies after falling into deep gorge in Keran
Keran, Feb 15 : An elderly woman, along with her minor baby, tragically lost their lives after she slipped and fell into a deep gorge in the Keran sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday late evening.
Official sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a 60-year-old woman identified as Rashida Begum wife of Ghulam Nabi Joo of Naga Keran, fell into a deep gorge along with her minor baby in the Mundain area of Keran. The incident occurred when she accidentally slipped while walking.
A police officer informed News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a team has been dispatched to the location to recover the bodies of the deceased from the deep gorge. (KS)
