Gurez valley received fresh spell of snowfall
Bandipora, Feb 18 : The Gurez valley in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district has received a fresh spell of snowfall on Sunday morning whereas plains in Kashmir have received light spell of rainfall.
Reports reaching news agency Kashmir Scroll said that the fresh snow of 2-4 inches have accumulated from midnight to Sunday morning and snowfall is still going on.
Authorities have already closed the 84 Km Gurez-Bandipora road in view of heavy snowfall predictions from the meteorological department from 18-21 feb.
A low level Avalanche warning has been also issued in upper reaches of Valley the travelers have been advised to follow traffic police advisory.(KS)
