Shiv Sena to support NC on 2 Kashmir Lok Sabha seats
Jammu, Apr 17 : Shiv Sena’s Jammu and Kashmir unit today met the National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah and extended support to the party for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
In a press release issued to media, as per the instructions of the party state chief Manish Sahni a delegation of party leaders led by the party’s Kashmir division president Malik Bashir met Farooq Abdullah and extended conditional support to NC candidates from Srinagar and Baramulla seats.
“The party extended support on issues like restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, protection of its cultural identity with special privileges to protect the rights of the local people and equal development of both Jammu and Kashmir divisions,” reads the statement.
