J&K: Schools To Remain Closed in North Kashmir Parts Amid inclement weather

SRINAGAR: In view of inclement weather and flood like situation, administration in north Kashmir parts has decided to suspended classwork in many schools on Monday.

“In view of inclement weather and avalanche warning issued by JKDMA, the class work in all the schools is suspended across the District on 29-4-2024 as a precautionary measure for the safety of students,” the Kupwara administration said.

“However the teaching and non- teaching staff shall attend their duties to monitor the situation and ensure safety of institutional assets of their respective institutions,” it added.

Also the Class Work shall remain suspended today in all HS/MS and PS (Govt and Private) schools in Uri area of Baramulla.

“All the HOI’S shall personally monitor the situation and keep an eye on all the educational institutions under their control to avoid any risk of life or property,” ZEO Uri said.
