DLIC approves 68 cases under various Mission Youth Schemes at Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, AUGUST 02: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today convened a meeting of District Level Implementation Committee under Mission Youth at VC Room Mini-Secretariat Ganderbal.
The DC took a detailed review of the progress of Mission Youth schemes, status of the applications received and the cases forwarded by the District Employment and Counselling Centre, Ganderbal for approval.
The meeting held discussions on various schemes of Mission Youth, including Tejaswini, Mumkin, SEI, besides the functioning of the already established units.
After discussions and thorough assessment, the committee approved 24 cases under MUMKIN Scheme, 19 Cases under TEJASWANI and 25 Cases under Spurring Entrepreneurship initiative (SEI).
Shyambir directed ACD Ganderbal to reach out to the youth and rope in 3-5 cases from each village with the help of ground level staff, so that the maximum employment opportunities are created for the unemployed youth.
The DLIC meeting was also attended by ACD Ganderbal, Dr Bashir Ahmad, CPO Ganderbal, Shahnawaz Khan, Assistant Director Employment Ganderbal, Lead Bank Manager Ganderbal, District Officers JKEDI, KVIB and Officers from DIC, DSW and District Employment & Counselling Centre Ganderbal.
