GOC White Knight Corps along with GOC CIF Delta conduct security review in Doda-Kishtwar
Srinagar, Aug 31: To review security measures in the strategically important Doda-Kishtwar region, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, along with the GOC of Counter Insurgency Force (CIF) Delta, carried out a thorough assessment of the operational readiness in the Suigarh and Patnazi sectors.
According to news agency KINS, the GOC White Knight Corps personally inspected the deployment of troops and their preparedness in these key areas.
He expressed satisfaction with the professionalism and determination shown by the soldiers despite ongoing challenges.
The GOC praised the troops for their dedication and their ability to maintain a high level of readiness, which is vital for the region’s stability and security, as reported by the White Knight Corps.
The review also covered the security arrangements for the ongoing KaplasKund Yatra, a significant annual pilgrimage in the region.
Given the large number of pilgrims and the area’s sensitivity, the GOC stressed the importance of staying highly vigilant. Security forces have been directed to ensure all necessary measures are in place to prevent any potential threats.
To boost security efforts, aerial platforms are being used for overwatch and real-time surveillance. These aerial assets play a crucial role in detecting and promptly addressing any suspicious activity, providing an extra layer of security.
The GOC’s visit is part of a broader strategy to ensure the security framework in the region remains strong and ready to respond to any potential threats. (KINS)
