Debt, Helplessness; The Plight Of Employees Of Jk Cements Khrew Since 2018.

Srinagar: There are hundreds of employees working elsewhere whose plea is yet to get answered and who’s economic instability has caused such a havoc in their lives that one can do nothing but feel sorry to their plight.
One of such unfortunate instances, is the agony of JKCL employees. These employees have been battling hunger and starvation for more than 04 years now. These employees too have been without salary from months. Owning to such financial conditions, some of the employees are battling chronic illness, and some have died due to lack of medical expenditure. While some have failed to pay fees of their pupils. The wards of others have left their studies in midway to support their family. Some of the retired employees are unable to marry their daughters and some have resorted to daily waging. Most of the employees have taken loan from Bank , while they are unable to pay back the loan , they have sold whatever resources they had to ease their bank debt.
Some years before, the government has transferred all employees of JKCL to other departments but of no relief for the Retired Employees.
The crumbled financial conditions and helplessness stare even more at the retired employees as they have not received anything from the saving of their career except CP Fund that too without 7 years.
While these employees have used whatever option they had to approach government for their grievances, The government is yet to come with any end term solution. The question remains;
what it takes for Government to act upon your call?
