Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday arrested a man accused of stabbing another man during a scuffle in Parimpora area of Srinagar district.
In a post on X, Srinagar police, “They take cognizance of an incident in which an individual namely Zareef Ahmed Mir S/o Ab Raheem Mir R/o Parimpora stabbed another namely Amir Razak Mir S/o Ab Razak Mir R/o Parimpora during a scuffle over vehicle parking near their shops.”
“The victim was declared dead upon arrival at SMHS Hospital. FIR no. 114/2024 u/s 103 BNS stands registered in PS Parimpora”, Police said.
The accused has been arrested and the weapon of offence has also been recovered.
He said that further investigation into the case is going on.
