Kashmiri Entrepreneur to Launch EV Two-Wheeler Brand with NIT Srinagar’s Mentorship
Srinagar, Feb 12,: In a major push for sustainable mobility, Kashmiri entrepreneur Aarif Shafi Khanyari is set to launch ELVANIA ENERGIES 369, an EV two-wheeler and energy brand, in June 2025.
Khanyari, founder of Elvania Energies 369 Pvt Ltd, recently underwent hands-on training in EV technology, manufacturing, and business development at a workshop conducted by NIT Srinagar’s Mechanical
Engineering Department (MED). The initiative, led by Dr. Dinesh Kumar, aims to empower local entrepreneurs with technical expertise in the green energy sector.
The brand’s flagship Eli-1 model will feature AI-operated batteries, self-sustaining energy generation using patented technology, and an advanced battery management system (BMS) to prevent overheating and explosions.
ELVANIA ENERGIES 369 will also provide consultation for EV startups and promote 95% Make in India components to reduce import dependency.
Dr. Kumar emphasized that the initiative seeks to make Kashmir a hub for EV innovation. With India’s EV sector expanding rapidly, Khanyari’s venture is expected to drive local economic growth and employment.
