Srinagar, Feb 21, : An explosion was reported at a forward location along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said on Friday.
The blast occurred in the Nakarkote area of Poonch, though the exact nature of the explosion and any possible casualties remain unclear at the time of reporting.
Notably, the incident took place just hours before a scheduled flag meeting between the armies of India and Pakistan, which aims to ease recent tensions along the LoC. Security forces are investigating the explosion.
