*Empowering Education: Zamahdari Project 2.0 Strengthens Literacy in Kupwara*

KUPWARA, FEBRUARY 25: The Zamahdari Project 2.0 has taken a significant stride in educational reform with the launch of a three-day capacity-building training programme for key resource persons. The traning programme was organized by District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Kupwara in collaboration with PRITHAM, a renowned NGO, the initiative aligns with the directives of the District Development Commissioner Kupwara (DDC) Ms. Ayushi Sudan.
Its primary goal is to enhance foundational literacy and numeracy skills among students, ensuring a stronger academic future for the district’s children.

The programme was inaugurated by Principal DIET Kupwara, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat who, in his keynote address, highlighted the crucial role of literacy and numeracy in a child’s holistic development. He applauded the collaboration with PRITHAM, recognizing the NGO’s dedication to educational transformation.

Coordinated by Mohammad Iqbal Bhat, In-Charge Trainings, the programme is meticulously designed to equip resource persons with innovative teaching methodologies, assessment tools, and strategies to address learning gaps. Through interactive sessions, hands-on activities, group discussions, and practical demonstrations, the training ensures that educators are well-prepared to implement these techniques in their classrooms effectively.

Participants responded with enthusiasm, praising the programme’s dynamic approach, which blends theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The initiative also emphasises the significance of continuous professional development, enabling educators to adapt to evolving educational needs and methodologies.

This initiative marks a major step toward strengthening the educational framework in Kupwara, reaffirming the commitment to nurturing a generation equipped with essential learning skills.
