Congress Legislators meet CM Omar Abdullah Decide to work together to achieve the common goals
Jammu,March, 05 : Amidst the ongoing budget session, the Congress Legislators today met the Chief Minister Shri Omar Abdullah in his Office Chambers and discussed various issues of public concern & common goal of providing good governance & fulfilling the pre- poll promises made to the people by the coalition.
Led by the President JKPCC Shri Tariq Hameed Karra and Leader of the Congress Legislature party Shri G A Mir, the meeting discussed the issues of broader public interest including the common goals of early restoration of statehood, good governance and achieving sustainable peace .
Acknowledging the challenges ahead and realising the difficulties in the early redressal of priority political objectives, the meeting decided to work together to accomplish the common goals of public interest , in the light of promises to the people, as pre – poll allies.
MLAs Peerzada Mohd Sayeed, Nizzammudin Bhat,Irfan Hafiz Lone & Iftikhar Ahmed also attended and took part in the discussions which lasted for around forty five minutes.
