BSF Opens Fire on Suspicious Movement Along IB in Samba, Search Operation Launched

Samba, Mar 11, : Border Security Force (BSF) troops opened fire after detecting suspicious movement along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district late last night. “The incident occurred in the Ghagwal area, prompting a swift security response,” officials said.
According to officials, the sentry on duty spotted suspicious activity near the border around 1 AM. Reacting quickly, the BSF personnel fired multiple rounds in the direction of the movement to deter any potential threat.
Following the gunfire, a search operation was immediately launched to rule out any security breach. Senior BSF officials, including the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) arrived at the site to assess the situation during the morning hours.
