Budgam, Jul : A wild bear was successfully rescued by the Wildlife Department at Daulatpura area of Chadoora in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.
An official from the department told the news agencyβ that they had received information about the presence of a bear in the village.
Acting swiftly, he said that a team was dispatched to the location and a rescue operation was initiated.
βThe operation was carried out promptly and concluded successfully. The bear was captured safely without causing any harm to the locals or the animal,β the official said.
He added that the bear has been relocated to a safe and habitat-like environment suitable for its well-beingβ
