_”Say No To Drugs, Save Life”_ *Kulgam Police organizes awareness programme on “NASHA MUKT BHARAT ABHIYAAN”*
Kulgam:July 21:Kulgam Police under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2024-2025, conducted an awareness programme on “NASHA MUKT BHARAT ABHIYAAN” at Government Higher secondary school DH Pora.
The programme was attended by Principal, faculty members of GHSS DH Pora, Senior Police officers of Kulgam Police including SDPO DH Pora Shri *Reyaz Ahmad*, DySP DAR Kulgam Shri *Mohd Ayub Rather*, SHO PS Manzgam, students and other respectable citizens.
Officers emphasized the need to protect the young generation from the menace of drug abuse, highlighting its devastating impact on individuals and society. Also stressed the importance of youths staying drug free and propagating the ill effects of drugs to the society thereby ensuring a Nasha Mukht Bharat.
Debate competition was held wherein the participants shared their perspectives, views, assumptions and exploring concrete solutions to the complex, challenging and pressing issue of drug abuse that threatens the very fabric of our society.
This initiative demonstrates J&K Police’s commitment to eradicating drug abuse and promoting a safer, healthier community. Participants thanked Police for conducting such awareness programmes, thus building a bridge of trust between police and the youth.
At the conclusion, first two position holders were awarded with mementos & cash prize to boost their morale.
