Srinagar, November 1:
Senior JKAS officer Naseer Ahmad Wani today assumed charge as the new Director of School Education, Kashmir.
Wani succeeds Dr. G.N. Itoo, who has been elevated as Director General, School Education Department, Kashmir.
Soon after taking charge, Wani reiterated his commitment to strengthening the education system in the Valley with a focus on quality learning, transparency, and effective implementation of reforms.
He held an introductory meeting with senior officers of the department and reviewed the ongoing initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, teaching standards, and academic outcomes across government schools in the region.
