*DC Rajouri Suspends Principal, Three Staffers Over Misconduct Allegations at GHSS Ghambir Mughlan*

*Action follows complaint, viral CCTV clip; FIR already registered*

Rajouri, Nov 16: The District Administration Rajouri has ordered the suspension of the Principal and three staff members of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Ghambir Mughlan after grave allegations of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behaviour surfaced.
According to an order issued by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma as per news agency, the officials have been placed under suspension with immediate effect. The move follows a written complaint submitted by residents and public representatives of Ghambir Mughlan, coupled with the circulation of a CCTV footage on social media that sparked serious concern over the safety of female students and employees, officials told news agency .
Police have already registered an FIR—No. 0102/2025 dated 09.11.2025—at Police Station Manjakote against the accused Principal and staff members under relevant provisions of law.The suspended personnel have been identified as Mohd Farooq, Principal GHSS Ghambir Mughlan; Tanveer Ajaz, teacher; Manzoor Hussain, Class IV employee; and Mushtaq Ahmed, Class IV employee of the same institution. All four have been attached to the office of the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri pending further inquiry.
The CEO Rajouri has been tasked with conducting a preliminary probe and submitting a factual report within 15 days, along with recommendations for further administrative action.
DC Sharma said the administration is treating the matter with utmost seriousness, adding that a fair and transparent inquiry will be ensured to protect the dignity and security of female students and staff across all educational institutions of the district.
