J&K Tourism Showcased at IITM Pune 2025; JKAS Officers Lead Promotional Campaign.

PUNE, NOVEMBER 29:
The Tourism Department of Jammu & Kashmir deputed a team of four JKAS officers to represent the Union Territory at the India International Travel Mart (IITM) Pune 2025, held from November 27 to 29 at Deccan College Grounds, Pune.
The official delegation comprised Mohd. Rouf Rahman, CEO Kokernag Development Authority; Tariq Hussain Naik, CEO Gulmarg; Aijaz Qaisar Malik, Joint Director Tourism Jammu; and Jahid Azad, Assistant Director Tourism (Publicity) Kashmir.
IITM Pune, one of the prominent travel and tourism exhibitions in the country, witnessed participation from several international destinations, including Malaysia, Nepal, and Singapore, as well as major Indian tourism states such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. Numerous stakeholders, tour operators, and travel industry professionals also attended the event.
The J&K Tourism team actively promoted the tourism potential of the Union Territory and highlighted its unique offerings across all four seasons. The officers showcased J&K as an independent and diverse tourist destination, emphasizing adventure tourism, natural landscapes, cultural heritage, and year-round travel attractions. They also briefed visitors and industry stakeholders about the preparedness and sustained efforts of the Tourism Department to cater to tourists throughout the year.The participation of Jammu & Kashmir in IITM Pune 2025 is expected to further strengthen its outreach and attract a larger influx of domestic and international travellers in the coming seasons.
